STOVE INSTALLATION

Our comprehensive installation service covers everything you need to get a stove up and running safely and efficiently – and looking good. We begin with a full survey, so we can advise on what will work best in your home and identify exactly what building work will be needed.

The stove itself is often just the starting point. 80% of stove installations require structural alterations to be made, so it’s important to choose stove fitters who know exactly what they are doing. Stoves

We install all types of woodburning and multifuel (wood and coal) stoves – traditional, free standing, inset. Most of our customers buy their stoves from us, but if you have one from another source, we’re happy to quote for installation only. We also supply a wide range of hearths and fireplace surrounds.

Back Boiler Systems

Our engineers are qualified to install full back boiler systems, connecting your stove to your central heating, thermal stores, or water heating systems. Work includes upgrading your pipework and cylinder to meet current safety standards and regulations.

Building Work

Whatever type of stove you choose, there will be building work to do. Removing brickwork, laying new bricks, inserting a structural lintel, sorting out flues, plastering – whatever needs doing, you can trust us to get it right. Relax and enjoy both the look and feel of your new stove, secure in the knowledge all structural work has been done safely.

Chimneys

Unless you are having a stand-alone stove with an independent flue, you will need work done on your chimney in order to make it safe and effective when used with a stove. We cover everything that’s needed – and we can even install a new chimney. Find out more on our chimney services page.

Building Regulations

The work will probably need building regulations approval. This is to confirm that plans and the finished work meet safety standards. We’ll sort out all the paperwork and liaise with the council inspectors as necessary.
